It’s my 2nd night here on Mirissa Beach and I’m loving the chill-out beach life! Mirissa’s main attraction is the beach and there are backpackers, hostels and villas that stretches across the shore. My friend and I picked one of the best villas (Palm Villa) here on the beach and it is situated at a quieter part of Mirissa, ideal for travellers seeking some privacy. (Ideal for our post Adam Peak climb)
Waking up to the sound of waves beating the shore and ending the day with a seafood dinner is simply amazing. (I’m actually blogging this while waiting for my prawns to be grilled!)
PS: For people who love fashion, there are a few shops in Mirissa that sell handmade clothing and bags which are of good quality and a low price! I bought a pretty dress for RS700 (<SGD7), which I could even alter on the spot. Linen wear is also sold at appx RS1200 (<SGD12) at a couple of shops. Mirissa is definitely a recommended stop if you’re traveling in Sri Lanka. I’m off for dinner now.
Peace & Love,
